Presentation at R&D Management Conference 2025

I was delighted to present joint research with Paola Zappa from University College London’s Global Business School for Health at the R&D Management Conference 2025, held this year in the beautiful city of Pisa, Italy.

Our paper, titled “Team Diversity and Success in Collaborative Research: Empirical Evidence from Grant Proposals in a Research Hospital,” explores how the composition of research teams influences the likelihood of securing competitive grant funding. Drawing on rich data from a grant competition within a research hospital, we examined the role of diversity across individual and organizational dimensions on obtaining research funding.

The conference provided an excellent forum for thoughtful and engaged discussions. It was a pleasure to exchange ideas with fellow researchers, reconnect with long-time colleagues, and make new connections in the R&D management community.
